The Black River, where Ninette Lodge is places is 500 miles long with the beginning at Brazil being the most important river of our country crossing Uruguay at the middle throwing it's water at the Rio Uruguay bordering with Argentina .
The main tributaries are Rio Tacuarembo y el Rio Yi that bring water from another vast area of the country. The RIO NEGRO even being semi dark water has pristine white sand bars ,Ninette Lodge is located in the area called ISLA DEL AUSTRIACO. This divide the main river in two where runs and stumps brought by the flooding make a paradise for GOLDEN SALMON AND WOLF FISH ,right in front of our windows
The lodge is at 310 Kmts fro either EZEIZA at Argentina or CARRASCO at Montevideo. Driving time is close to 4 hours.
